Though I have a good working knowledge of PS and have worked though most of this book in class, I have decided to work through this book again, at my own pace (decisively faster than “classroom” pace, which bores me to tears.) I will also be working through these chapters with my Wacom Intuos 3 and simultaneously sharpening those skills and increasing my familiarity with that tool as well.
Chapter One focuses on getting to know the work area.
Practice selections. Select the headlamp only, inverse, use curves to brighten the rest of the image.
Familiarize with tool options, text selection, and color selection. Add “monday is beach cleanup day” to image above bench.
Practice Undo functions, introduction to layers, and customize workspaces. Add a design to the tie on the layer mask.
